WHY WE STARTED.
The Persistence Project: Pathways to Achievement was created to award students who are following their path to higher education at Schreiner University. Within a path to higher education, all students are required to complete a series of tasks in order to graduate. As a campus community, we are collectively working together to bring awareness to our student’s hard-earned efforts and reward them with achievement.
Starting in the Spring of 2022, students will work to complete their required checklist by July 15, 2022 for the Fall academic year 2022-2023. Those who are able to complete their tasks with various departments will be rewarded with $250 cash on or around September 1st. Students are able to continue their pathway as they advance from their freshman to sophomore year and their sophomore to junior year as well as their junior to senior year. In total students will have the ability to receive up to $750 cash for simply persisting to obtain their degree.
Students will complete steps within the pathway that reflects the current year they are into what they should be continuing on as in the following year. These tasks involve areas within Financial Services, the Office of the Registrar, and getting in touch with your advisors. This task should be completed by July 15, 2022, to be applicable for the 2022-2023 school year.
Students who believe they have completed this task list should fill out the completion form using this link, to receive the certificate to bring to our office to receive your $250 cash, on or after September 1st.
Once you have completed your pathway be sure to fill out the form on this link by July 15, 2022.
