How It Works: 

1. Sign Up: As an alumni, you can express your interest in becoming a mentor through completion of the below form. 
2. Mentorship Opportunities: Participate in group mentorship sessions, workshops, and events that provide valuable insights and advice to current students. In the context of our mentorship program, it is essential to emphasize that mentorships are inherently self-guided. This means that mentor and mentee relationships are not assigned but are initiated by mentees, who select their mentors from a provided directory of names. Furthermore, the topics and direction of communication within these mentorship relationships are determined through mutual agreements between the mentor and mentee, fostering a personalized and dynamic learning experience.
3. Networking: Reconnect with fellow alumni and develop meaningful connections within our thriving alumni community. 
4. Inspire Future Success: Your engagement and guidance can help shape the future of our students, setting them on a path to success.

• Schreiner Experience Fair: Students meet with local employers, nonprofit agencies and study abroad providers to discuss local jobs, internships, volunteer/community service opportunities and study abroad options.

The Community Volunteer Program at Schreiner University is designed to bring members from the larger community into the campus environment to assist the University in its mission to provide a personalized, integrated education that prepares its students for meaningful work and purposeful living in a changing global society.
