USDA Agricultural Research Service is currently recruiting for an Biological Science Aid at Conservation and Production Research Laboratory : USDA ARS in Bushland, TX for Spring 2024. Assists in outdoor field work to include repairing irrigation systems, plant measurements and growth staging. Maintains experimental plots free from weeds.
Helps maintain outdoor sensors, uses a neutron probe weekly to measure soil water content in treatment plots. Performs destructive plant sampling and harvesting, weighs and records wet and dry weights. Enters field measurements into computer database.
