GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- Assist the Director of the Schreiner Experience and members of the Schreiner Experience Team with event planning, event marketing on campus, data processing, filing, spreadsheet analysis, and other duties as assigned.
- Applicants should have proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word and Outlook.
- Any graphic design skills is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and complete projects on a timely basis, with minimal supervision.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support on-line operations involving software system, website, and social media tools
- Assist employers with recruitment efforts
- Coordinate with staff in marketing initiatives to promote services and programs
- Develop positive relationships with students, employers, faculty, staff, alumni and parents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in management of Career Management Software system involving employer and student registration to include account maintenance, oversight, data entry, and encourage usage
- Assist with the planning and promotion of the career development office to students, alumni, faculty and employers through wide-array of marketing efforts involving publications both online and hard copy
- Assist with maintenance of on-line resources such as website, social media links, etc.
- Participate in the design and delivery of career-related workshops, programs and panels
- Assist with special on-campus recruiting events/programs
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Contribute to the overall success of the Schreiner Experience Team by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and university safety rules
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proven ability to work independently while functioning as a team member
- Strong abilities in time management and managing multiple projects and details
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required
- Comfortable working with technology based services (computerized career guidance systems; career management system, social media tools)
