Customer Service Representative
Schedule: M-F 730-4
SAP Highly preferred, (oracle would be similar)
Heavy use of excel (data logging)
3 other people in same office – teamwork
To provide support to customers and contractors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter orders into the company’s computer system and process the orders. Compile processed orders with other mandatory paperwork such as SDS, certificates of analysis, etc. and give to operators to fulfill the order.
Monitor customers’ systems for shipping orders and enter shipping data into their systems.
Review inventory detail reports for accuracy.
Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously and accurately direct calls to staff. Professionally assist all visitors to the terminal and ensure security procedures are followed. Assist customers with questions, issues, and coordination of orders.
Process and distribute paperwork/invoices to customers.
Provide back-up and relief to other positions as appropriate.
Assist with third party orders as needed.
Interact and communicate with clients and co-workers in a professional and appropriate manner and respond to and give feedback in a respectful and positive manner.
Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters.
Take the initiative to identify problems, use judgment to find appropriate solutions and follow through on resolving issues in a timely manner.
Support team efforts, actively work to generate respect and enthusiasm, cooperate with others, and actively learn from other team members.
Report to work on time prepared to perform the duties of the position and willing to perform the duties as workload necessitates.
High School or GED
Minimum 1-year experience as an administrative assistant
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of office equipment (switchboard, facsimile, mail meter, etc.)
Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals, reports and correspondence.
