pep creative is an impact-seeking group of creatives delivering design solutions that drive brand sales and meet clients’ marketing goals. pep creative delivers best-in-class creative, from concept-to-execution creative to quick-turn adaptations. Examples of work include promotional creative for in-store and digital tactics, display, FSIs, packaging design and mechanicals, digital and print advertising, merchandising planograms, microsites, catalogs/mailers/brochures, branding and marketing materials, video, copywriting, and more. The pep creative team partners with clients to reduce touchpoints and administrative lead-time, and capture full program visibility for stronger design application, governance, and stewardship, all while maintaining brand equity and voice.
Internship Overview
This internship is for a student or recent graduate who is studying graphics design, studio art, fine arts, or a related creative field and has an interest in learning more about the advertising, media, and promotion agency industry. Their primary job responsibilities will be focused on work with pep internal projects, pep social media, and client work.
We are looking for someone who is not only very creative, but also energetic, inquisitive, agile, and hungry to learn! Intern MUST be located in the Cincinnati area to report into our pep HQ office.
Primary Job Functions:
To perform this job successfully, intern candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Assist Art Director and pep creative team to design, revise, and release final high-resolution files in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with social media content creation, design, and blog creative/visual development (including video)
- Work with the pep social team to manage and develop content alongside the 2025 social content calendar with direction from SVP/Director of Client Strategy
- Provide design support for pep corporate marketing and sales collateral
- Work on client-facing projects as needed
- Participate in job shadow experiences with pep creative team members
Job Competencies:
- Ability to conceptualize and create marketing materials that meet Client’s objectives with thorough attention to detail
- Flexibility to help the pep team with other tasks related to the Client’s business as directed
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Strong social media content development / design knowledge
- Strong time management skills to meet assigned deadlines
- Technical capacity and aptitude as it applies to both digital and print production design
Required Education and Experience:
- Proficient in Adobe product suite (specifically Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat Pro)
- Expertise in creating posts, reels, videos, other content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint)
- Experience organizing and maintaining design files
- Must provide portfolio
- Pursuing Graphic Design degree
