In-Home Sales/Design Consultant needed for Hester Window Coverings. The primary function of a Window Coverings Consultant is to visit our customer’s home or office and help our customers to identify their window covering needs and wants, keeping in mind their budget, presenting the features and benefits of each product offered. Once a potential window covering product has been selected, you will take measurements of each window for that project and then create a proposal for that client.
-Proficient with Microsoft Word, Quickbooks and general computer skills
– Uses appropriate and creative tools to help customers visualize products, colors, fabrics, or final projects
-High Energy. Energetic personality with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
-Driven and ambitious
-Ability to think creatively, plan, organize, set goals and execute strategically
-Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
-Excellent communication skills
-Must have reliable transportation
-Able to accurately read a tape measure
-Ability to climb a ladder (usually only a step ladder is needed/occasionally a 6 foot ladder is used)
-Clean Driving Record & Must pass a background check
-PLUS (prior experience in interior design/window coverings or prior experience selling window treatments)
Full-time employees receive five paid vacation days, plus five days of personal time off. Major Holiday pay.
Starting pay is based on experience. ($14.00 to $17.00 per hour/plus commission)
