POSITION SUMMARY:
This program will equip a future HR leader to discern and pursue their vocation by gaining experience in administrative and HR generalist activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with Learning and Development Facilitator Tools
- Become certified in ADP’s LMS “Learn” module
- Migrate Litmos SAP supplemental library courses into the ADP system, approximately 1500 courses.
- Check uploads to ensure all materials and videos are viewable by participants
- Provide assistance with onboarding of Summer Staff
- Assist with I9 review, completion, and E-Verify processing
- Ensure successful completion of sexual abuse awareness training with passing exam score
- Assist with processing of background checks
- Maintain worksheet/log for State Inspector
- Assist in the candidate review and selection process of full-time staff
- Work with hiring managers
- Review and modification of existing job descriptions, or creation of job description for new positions
- Selection of qualified applicants to present to hiring manager
- Post internal and external postings of job descriptions
- Download candidate resumes and update spreadsheet
- Coordinate interviews with selected candidates and hiring manager, Using email and Outlook Calendar
- Complete an IT checklist for new employees which creates an email address, provides required office equipment, and coordinates office space in advance of employee’s arrival
- Work with hiring managers
- Assist with onboarding of new employees
- Coordinate schedules with onboarding team members and new employees
- Gather and prepare materials in advance of orientation
- Assemble new hire employee files for each employee
- Other duties may be assigned on a temporary and infrequent basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required, and college credit hours preferred; HR major a plus
- Experience working with Office 365 software: Word, Excel, and Outlook

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds
- Must have ability to independently drive a vehicle
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Working includes both an indoor office setting and a camp/retreat setting with uneven terrain and varying weather conditions
- May include an occasional weekend and evenings at the camp location
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and multi-function printers.
