2023 Schreiner University Women's Leadership Conference
JOIN US! As society’s expectations of leaders evolve, young people need the opportunity to be exposed to professional, ethical, and thoughtful leadership qualities.
This year’s conference will center around the Women of Schreiner Institute, College, and University. The purpose of the Schreiner University Women’s Leadership Conference is to bring noted women leaders to campus to share their knowledge and wisdom about the challenges women face and the strategies used to overcome them. This is a FREE, one-day conference. Check-in begins at 9:30am in the lobby of the CCAC. The conference will begin promptly at 10:00am and will end at 1:30pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Lunch is provided. A volunteer opportunity will immediately follow the conference in the CCAC Ballrooms from 1:30pm – 2pm. Keynote Speaker – Ms. Shannon Hopkins, Social Entrepreneur, Schreiner College Alumna
Mid-Morning Speakers – Ms. Donna Gay, Ms. Suzy Schneider, Miss Valentina Hernandez, Miss Taylor Braxton, and Miss Symphanie Sampson – former Schreiner Institute Alumnae and current Schreiner University students
Afternoon Speaker – Ms. Jen Hardy, Empowerment Coach, Schreiner University Alumna
All participants will receive an autographed copy of the book, These Aren’t Your Ducks by Sally McGreevey Hannay.

The Women of Schreiner Institute, College, and University are organizing a service project to construct 1,923 Hope Totes as we celebrate Schreiner’s Centennial. The Hope Totes will be filled at the Women’s Leadership Conference and delivered to local non-profits serving women in need in the Texas Hill Country. Help us fill a bag by purchasing one or more Essential Kits (select Wendy Blaettner, Kerrville, TX as the shipping address). If possible, please order prior to October 1, 2023.
